Here's the brown female version of the anthro raccoon dog I recently made. This is the "natural" color and I like it best. :D These guys are my first for-sale avatar whose skin was painted in Photoshop CS4 Extended, and I'm really happy with it. Being able to make the skin with just one program, and having access to all the usual filters, makes a huge difference. If any of you avatar artists are unsure of whether to upgrade Photoshop, DO EET. :D

Raccoon dog anthro and feral WIP by SnowFox102

OH NOES GIANT RACCOON DOG These are part of my recent project, Morgan's Tanuki. My RL friend Morgan has cancer, and I'm selling these avatars and giving her and her family the money. (She likes anime, raccoon dogs are often in anime...it made sense at the time.) I started with the anthro, and enjoyed working with them so much that I'm also planning to make a TinyQuad version, and I also started on the "feral" one on the right. I don't know what to call the quad. "Feral" doesn't make much sense to me because to me feral means "domestic animal that has become wild" but in SL people like to use it to describe anything quadruped. I'll probably stick with feral since I can't think of anything else. I just started on the feral yesterday, so it looks pretty wonky. The anthro is finished, except for the boring parts (boxing and taking pictures for the vendor) and will be released on January 10th. The one standing there is Valorn, by the way.

I titled this snapshot with that and sent it to the owner of this feudal Japan RP sim. I like the pose on this one, it shows how flexible the avatar's joints are.

This was actually used for a vendor pic, but I liked it enough to post it without the vendor text. This particular color is limited edition. It's based on the "sanke" pattern of ornamental nishikigoi (original Japanese koi). The only thing in this pic I didn't make was the pond, and one rock. Oh, and the kirin's hair. ;)

One of several shots of my new kirin avatar, just goofing off in various places. This is the horse pasture in a Lord of the Rings sim, with a jump course that I had to try with the kirin. Don't ask me what Spirit and Rain are doing there though.

Closer shot of Serafina from the side, showing her facial markings a bit better. I was going for "natural tribal tattoo" but it kinda didn't work, at least on her body XP I made pretty much everything in this shot, except the collar, some of the treasure, and the tree you can just barely see.
